Send me a quick message about what you're hoping to do — full redesign, a refresh, lighting, orchids, or you're not sure yet. We'll set up a time to walk the property together and figure out what makes sense.

What I Do

Most landscape companies treat plants as decoration. I treat them as the point. Every project starts with a real understanding of how plants behave in SWFL — salt air, sandy soil, summer storms, hurricane season — and what will still look beautiful five years from now.

Landscape design plan for a South Florida residence featuring lush tropical plants, palm trees, stone pathways, fire pit lounge area, outdoor dining space, and various plant types categorized in plant palette, trees, shrubs, tropical accents, flowering shrubs, ground covers, grasses, and materials used.

Our Services

Landscape Design & Installation
$2,000.00

A landscape isn't finished the day it's installed — it's finished five years later, when it's grown into what you imagined. I design landscapes for the long view: plant choices that actually fit your property's light, soil, and exposure, laid out so they look intentional from day one and only get better.

What's included

  • On-site walkthrough and conversation about what you want from the space

  • Custom planting plan — species, sizes, placement, count

  • Sourcing from quality SWFL nurseries, not big-box leftovers

  • Full installation, including soil prep, mulch, and cleanup

  • A 30-day check-in to make sure everything's settling in correctly

When this is the right fit

You've just bought a home and the existing landscape doesn't match it. You've finished a remodel and need the outside to catch up. Your front yard has been "fine" for ten years and is ready for something better. You want a redesign of one zone — pool area, lanai surround, front entry — rather than the whole property.

Pricing

Projects start at $2,000 for smaller zone work and run to $25,000+ for full property installations. I'll quote your specific project after the on-site walkthrough — no surprises, no add-ons.

Landscape Lighting
$1,500.00

A well-lit landscape is the difference between a property that looks finished and one that looks beautiful — twice a day. Good lighting lifts the architecture of your home, draws attention to specimen palms and trees, and adds safety and elegance to walkways and entries. It also adds real value: nightscape lighting is one of the highest-return outdoor improvements you can make.

What's included

  • On-site evaluation, ideally at dusk so we can see what wants to be lit

  • Custom lighting design — fixture types, placement, beam angles

  • Professional-grade LED fixtures built for SWFL humidity and salt

  • Clean wiring, hidden where possible, with a quality transformer

  • Programming, aiming, and a final walk-through at night

When this is the right fit

You have mature palms or specimen trees worth showing off. Your front entry feels flat after dark. You want curb appeal that lasts past sunset. You're selling soon and want your listing photos to include a dusk shot.

Pricing

Most lighting projects run $1,500 to $6,000 depending on number of fixtures and the size of the property. I'll give you a fixed quote after the on-site walkthrough.

Mounted Orchids
$350.00

Mounted orchids grow the way orchids grow in nature — anchored to driftwood, live oak branches, or other natural substrates rather than potted in soil. The result is a sculptural, organic display that potted orchids can't match. Done well, a mounted orchid is part plant, part artwork, and lives for decades.

What's included

  • Selection of orchid species suited to your location, light, and care preferences

  • Hand-selected mounts — driftwood, live branches, cork bark

  • Professional mounting with the right materials for long-term plant health

  • Placement on your lanai, patio, or interior space

  • Care instructions, with phone-call support afterward

Why this is different from the orchids at the grocery store

A grocery-store orchid is a one-season houseplant. A properly mounted orchid placed in the right SWFL setting can live, bloom, and grow for many years. My orchid collection has been recognized by the American Orchid Society more than a dozen times — that same selection eye and growing experience goes into every installation.

Pricing

Single mounts start at $500. Full lanai or patio installations with multiple specimens range from $2,000 to $10,000+. Read more about mounted orchids and my approach on the Orchid page.

Plant Consultations
$300.00

Sometimes you don't need a full redesign — you need straight answers. What's thriving and what's dying? Is that hedge worth saving? What should you plant where the old hibiscus used to be? A consultation is 60 to 90 minutes on your property with a horticulturist who can tell you, honestly, what you're looking at and what your options are.

What you get

  • A walkthrough of your entire property (or just the zones you're focused on)

  • Identification of any struggling or misplaced plants

  • Specific plant recommendations for problem areas, with species names

  • Design direction — where the eye should land, what to add, what to remove

  • A follow-up summary email with notes you can act on yourself or send to another contractor

Pricing

$300 flat, fully credited toward any installation booked within 60 days. If you decide to do the work yourself or hire someone else, the recommendations are yours — no hard feelings.

Why Precision Planting

A horticulturist, not a crew. I've spent a decade in SWFL nurseries and landscapes. I know what will thrive here and what won't — and I'll tell you honestly before you spend money on it.

Plants that earn awards. My orchid collection has been recognized by the American Orchid Society more than a dozen times. That same eye for plant quality and placement goes into every client project.

You work directly with me. Every project — from a single mounted orchid to a full landscape redesign — is designed by me, not a salesperson. No handoffs, no upsells, no surprises.
